The content of these on-line lessons has been developed to assist you in your efforts to improve practices in children's mental health services, with a Systems of Care focus. You will only have access to those classes that your SOC site has previously identified as needed through a contract with the University of South Florida’s Department of Child and Family Studies. Your customized program has been designed to meet the specific training needs of your SOC staff and providers. In addition to these classes, your site may have selected to participate in on-line live trainings and in a “Community of Learners” forum to supplement the curriculum. Course categories

Adobe Presenter Plug InThrough distance learning technologies, the Learning On-line: Education and Training in Children’s Mental Health program brings expert instruction to the field, both in Florida, and nationwide. The curriculum, with an emphasis in Systems of Care (SOC), supports the development of a workforce well trained in evidence-based intervention models and also well-versed in the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors necessary to work effectively in an integrated, inter-agency system of care. Content was developed by the well-known faculty from the System of Care Professional Training Consortium. Lessons for this in-service training program are delivered through a partnership between the University of South Florida, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute, Department of Child and Family Studies and Solutions of Substance, a technical assistance and consulting company. Learning On-line is supported in part by the Center for Mental Health Services/SAMHSA.
